Hi!

I’m Jennifer Chisam. I’ve done a few different things in my life, but now I’m a FARMER! My husband Scott & I have been married since 2008, but we’ve known each other our whole lives. We have two little boys, ages 8 & 3 who love farm life.

Scott’s ancestors have farmed the land here in Johnson City, Tennessee since 1840! There have been many crops produced over the years, but for probably 30 years, the fields have just been hay. We’ve wanted to create a farm business here for quite a while. And in 2023, this dream is coming true!

We are slowly fixing up the place. Scott is replacing boards and painting the old barn, corn crib, and smokehouse. My dad, Steve, is working on getting the old Ford 8-N tractors running (there are two!) And I am starting beautiful flowers & herbs for planting!

With each farm decision, we try to honor the past while planning for the future. Our dream is to leave a legacy for our children and their children.

Every day that I step onto the land, I feel it’s peace. I feel the deep connection with nature, and I almost feel the encouragement and love of generations past. I hope you’ll join me at the farm for You-Pick, Yoga & other events. I think you’ll feel it, too.
